UN special envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen has called on Israel to halt its military movements and bombardments inside Syria.          

Talking to newsmen in Geneva today, he said Israeli actions violate the 1974 disengagement agreement between the two countries.

The statement comes after Israel carried out military strikes at over two hundred targets in Syria.
