Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain has called for advanced steps to avoid food insecurity in the future.

Addressing the 7th Pakistan Edible Oil Conference in Karachi today, he emphasized the need to take steps for the production of Soybean oil in the country.

He said it is indispensable to be self-sufficient in the production of edible oil.

He further said the soil of Pakistan is suitable for the irrigation of Olive oil.

The Minister said that the government is ensuring to provide all the relevant facilities to the foreign investors in the country.
