Federal cabinet has approved deployment of army in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad.

The decision was taken in wake of prevailing situation in different parts of the country, including Islamabad, at the meeting of the cabinet with Prime Minister in the chair.

The cabinet condemned the PTI and its Chairman Imran Khan for their continuous diatribe against state institutions and their leadership.

The cabinet discussed overall situation of the country and strongly condemned the violent incidents leading to damages to properties in different cities.

It was observed that the PTI leadership with a thought-out plan had been targeting the intelligence agencies and their officers which has now turned into terrorist attacks on the sensitive installations and buildings.

The meeting also strongly condemned the looting, torching and ransacking of the buildings of Radio Pakistan, APP, PTV and their infrastructure, and disrupting the national broadcast, setting of vehicles and record on fire and the reported injuries caused to officials.

The cabinet made it clear that holding of protest is a basic constitutional right that should be within the confines of the constitution and legal limits, but such kind of lawlessness can not be allowed in any civilized country and society of the world.

The cabinet paid tribute to the police, all law enforcement agencies, administration who served to save the lives and property of the public and private property despite all the dangers.
