Steps taken by Prime Minister's Task Force on Maritime Reforms to upgrade Pakistan's ports have started yielding results.                            

Port operations have become more efficient with an improved customs clearance system, WeBoc upgradation and Port Community system.

Through digitalization, automation and space management techniques, port congestion has been significantly reduced.                                

These reforms are paving way for Pakistan to become a regional transshipment hub.
