Pakistan and the United States have renewed the Fulbright-HEC Partnership program, setting a target of supporting 66 PhD scholars over a period of five years.
The agreement to this effect has been signed between Higher Education Commission, Pakistan and the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan.
The agreement covers Financial Year 2026-27 through Financial Year 2031-32, encompassing the Fulbright Master's and PhD Programmes, Visiting Scholar Program for post-doctoral scholars, Foreign Language Teaching Assistant Program, and Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program.
The agreement underscores the shared commitment of both countries to academic excellence, human capital development, research, and international educational cooperation.
It will also advance Pak-US educational cooperation, strengthening institutional linkages, and expanding opportunities for Pakistani students, scholars, faculty, and professionals.
