Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has commended the security forces for thwarting an infiltration attempt by terrorists at Pakistan-Afghan border in Kurram district.

In a statement, he expressed deep grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of Naib Subedar Hidayat Aman during the operation against terrorists.

The Prime Minister paid tribute to the martyred Naib Subedar Hidayat Aman for sacrificing his life for the defense of the motherland.

He said Naib Subedar Hidayat Aman set a great example of valour and devotion towards duty in defending the country's frontiers.

He expressed heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the martyr's family and prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyr.

Shehbaz Sharif also lauded the professional capabilities of the security forces for thwarting the terrorist infiltration attempt and killing twelve Khwarij and Afghan Taliban.

He said Pakistan is fully capable to defend its borders and completely eradicate terrorism.

The Prime Minister expressed the resolve that there will be no compromise on Pakistan's security and sovereignty.

He said the entire nation stands shoulder-to-shoulder with its brave security forces in the war against terrorism.
