In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the APHC has urged the international community to take notice of Indian state terrorism and play its role in early settlement of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN resolutions.

In a statement issued in Srinagar, the APHC General Secretary Molvi Bashir Ahmad Irfani strongly condemned the fresh spell of extrajudicial killings by Indian troops across the territory.

He said India is a terrorist state that is using democracy as a cloak for oppression including mass killings, custodial disappearances, arbitrary arrests, torture and molestation of women by its troops in the territory.

Meanwhile, APHC leader Advocate Devinder Singh Behl in a statement deplored the silence of the international community over naked threats by Hindu extremists backed by Modi regime to minorities including Muslims, Sikhs and Dalits in India and Jammu and Kashmir.

On the other hand, India has been asked through posters pasted in Srinagar and other areas of the territory to release all Kashmiri political leaders, youth and women from jails.
