10-day Baisakhi festival begins from today (Monday) across the province of Punjab.      

In this connection, Pakistan High Commission in India has also issued visas to over 1100 Sikh pilgrims.

The pilgrims will reach the wagah border at about 10 am.

Baisakhi is a spring harvest festival which also marks the Sikh New Year.
