In India, a record 4,205 people died of Coronavirus across the country in a single day.

According to Health Ministry, the number of total fatalities has now risen to more than 254,000, while the country recorded 348,421 fresh COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours.   

An independent health policy and bioethics researcher Anant Bhan said that deaths are much higher than what our official data is revealing.
