Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhary Fawad Hussain has said the people should cooperate and follow the SOPs to stay safe from Covid-19.

In a video message, he warned if we did not comply with the SOPs, Pakistan could also face a situation similar to India.  He therefore asked the people to follow  'stay home and stay safe'  policy during the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.

He said instead of visiting the relatives on the occasion of Eid, we should use the means of internet and phone for communication with them. This, he said, is important for our own safety and those our dear ones.

The Information Minister said we have also imposed ban on intra city transport to limit the mobility.
