Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Raza Muhammad Khan (Defence Analyst): It is a great honor for the armed forces of Pakistan that Pakistan’s Army Chief was invited at Royal Military Academy as a Special Guest. The Army Chief is the first ever Pakistani dignitary, who has been invited there. His presence bears testimony to the deep-rooted relationship that exists between Pakistan and the United Kingdom. It is part of strategic thinking of the Army Chief to maintain peace and bilateral ties with armies of different countries. The Army Chief is working in accordance with the UN Charter of peace and security. Pakistan along with the UK can work to maintain peace in various regions of the world.
Brig. (Retd.) Mehmood Shah (Defence Analyst): This is a symbol of honor for all the Pakistanis, as their Army Chief has been invited for the first time as a Chief Guest at the Royal Academy. We have good standards but Royal Military Academy is the finest military institution in the world and it is a great honour for us that our soldiers passed out from this academy. We do have military academies here and many of the strategic analysts come here to look for competent individuals.
