Pakistan Army's troops of Karachi Corps have been practicing tactical drills and procedures as part of Exercise "Jidar-ul-Hadeed" in Thar Desert that commenced on 28th of the last month.

According to ISPR, the four weeks long defensive manoeuvre exercise is aimed at validating concept of defence in deserts.

The exercise is being conducted in extreme desert conditions, 74 kilometers ahead of Chhor, under conventional operations setting.

The exercise will culminate on 28th of this month.
