Palestinian Muslims performed Eid-ul-Fitr prayer in the Al-Aqsa Mosque’s compound in Jerusalem today (Thursday).

Despite the confrontations and attacks, an estimated one hundred thousand worshipers gathered at the holy site to perform the Eid prayers.

There have been clashes between Palestinians and Israeli police, particularly around the Al-Aqsa Mosque for the last several days.

Meanwhile, in Gaza, Eid preparations came to a halt on the largely empty streets as shops downed shutters and people stayed indoors due to Israeli air strikes.
