The business community, industrialists and civil society representatives have largely welcomed the Federal Budget 2026-27 terming it a growth-oriented and people-friendly budget aimed at promoting economic stability and industrial development.

Talking to newsmen in Lahore, President Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Faheem-ur-Rehman, said the federal government has presented a positive budget despite difficult economic conditions.

He said several proposals put forward by the Lahore Chamber have been accepted by the government and its economic team.

Former President of the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Rehan Naseem Bharara has appreciated the tax relief measures announced in the budget.

He termed the fiscal package a positive step towards industrial growth and economic expansion.
