A painting exhibition to commemorate Pakistan's Independence Day was held in Islamabad today.
The exhibition, organized by the Directorate of Electronic Media and Publications, showcased the paintings and portraits, highlighting different aspects of the Pakistan Movement.
Secretary Information and Broadcasting Ashfaq Ahmad Khalil, who was the chief guest at the ceremony, toured the exhibition and appreciated the creative work of young artists and students.
He said the Ministry of Information is working to counter the spread of fake news on social media platforms.
He also highlighted the significance of Marka-e-Haq, paying tribute to the courage, sacrifices, and resilience that have shaped the nation.
Ashfaq Ahmad Khalil said Pakistan's recent achievements reflect the strategic vision and leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, which have helped strengthen Pakistan's relations with friendly countries and elevate its global prestige.
Acknowledging the leadership of Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, the Secretary said the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is committed to projecting the positive image of Pakistan and highlighting its achievements, culture, talent, and potential to the world.
