Pakistan has reaffirmed its support for Syria’s political transition, reconstruction and sovereignty.

Speaking at a UN Security Council briefing, Pakistan's Acting Permanent Representative to the UN Usman Jadoon welcomed renewed diplomatic engagement, efforts to restore national institutions and signs of economic recovery, expressing optimism about Syria’s future.
