Citizens of Lahore have welcomed Radio Pakistan's candid initiative of reviving cricket commentary on its medium wave channels after thirteen years.

In this connection, necessary arrangements were made to put the commentary of the final match of ICC-T20 World Cup between Pakistan and England on amplifiers speakers at the entrance gate of Radio Pakistan’s Lahore Station.

Talking to Radio Pakistan in Lahore, various cricket lovers appreciated Radio Pakistan over recommencement of cricket commentary during the final match.  They said Radio Pakistan’s much-trumpeted sports feature of live ball-to-ball commentary on cricket matches, has materialized long-standing demand of the listeners.

The citizens were of the view that such tremendous step of airing the live commentary must continue in future as well in the best interest of cricket.
