BISP contributing for women empowerment

Minister of State and Chairperson BISP MNA Marvi Memon says BISP is not only contributing in the financial and educational uplift of its beneficiaries but also in nutrition, health and women empowerment.

She made these remarks during her visit to Dargai, Malakand today (Wednesday) to monitor progress of Waseela-e-Taleem program.

She said BISP has enrolled 394,977 children under Waseela-e-Taleem program in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

She said expansion of Waseela-e-Taleem to three more districts in consultation with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education department would start in Dera Ismail Khan, Mardan and Dir Upperfrom March next year.
