Federal Information Secretary, Ambreen Jan has emphasized the importance of focusing on China-Pakistan Media Corridor for the development of existing relationship between the two countries.

Addressing a ceremony in Beijing, the Secretary said two MoUs were signed between the Ministry of Information and the Chinese government during the visit of the Prime Minister for co-production of films and drams aimed at strengthening the bond of people to people contact.

Ambreen Jan said that cooperation in film industries between Pakistan and China is not new as around 12 Pakistani movies have been shown in China from 1957 to 1991.
