Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has stressed on the adoption of modern technology in livestock sector to strengthen economy.

Addressing the International Conference on Health Security in Lahore today, he said there is a dire need to increase productivity of milk through better research and proper farm management.

He said academia should work with industry to implement its innovative ideas.
