US Embassy Islamabad launches video song to promote COVID-19 vaccinations

The US Embassy, Islamabad has launched a new video song "Manzil," to promote COVID-19 vaccinations and support its campaign to counter disinformation about the pandemic in Pakistan. 

The launching ceremony was held in Islamabad on Saturday which was attended by Deputy Cultural Attaché of US Embassy in Islamabad and film and TV actor and producer Sarmad Khoosat.

The song complements the U.S. government's donation to Pakistan of over 61 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Speaking at the event Deputy Cultural Affairs Officer at U.S Embassy Islamabad Phillip Assis and the Minister Counselor for Public Affairs at the U.S Embassy said that through 75 years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and the US, Washington has been proud to partner with Islamabad to support public health, and we were thrilled to collaborate with talented producers, musicians, and actors to create this beautiful musical message to promote COVID-19 vaccination.
