Azad Kashmir Radio Mirpur shifts back to its original building, devasted during earthquake.
After the necessary repair and renovation work, the building of Azad Kashmir Radio Mirpur has now been fully restored.
The building had become dangerous due to cracks in the walls after the earthquake and the administration had to make temporary arrangements to ensure uninterrupted transmission from the station.
The temporary studios, set up in the container, have now been shifted to the original building, and they became functional today.
Listeners and members of the civil society of Azad Kashmir have extended their special gratitude to Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Secretary Information Shahera Shahid, and Director General Radio Pakistan Saeed Ahmed Shaikh for making the Azad Kashmir Radio Mirpur’s original building operational.
