The World Health Organziation has warned that a significant proportion of Gaza’s population is facing catastrophic hunger and famine.        

In a statement, head of WHO Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said over 8,000 children have been diagnosed and treated for acute malnutrition.

He said despite reports of delivery of food, there is no evidence that those who need it most are receiving sufficient quantity of food.

The WHO head also mentioned that there have been about 480 attacks on health care in the West Bank since October last.
