The newly elected Gilgit-Baltistan government has presented an interim budget of 20.4783 billion rupees for the first quarter of the 2026–27 fiscal year in the Assembly.

The interim budget was presented by Member of the Legislative Assembly Muhammad Ali Akhtar during a session presided over by Speaker Imran Nadeem.

During the session, the Speaker also administered the oath to the newly elected assembly members, Muhammad Dilpazir and Muhammad Naseem.
