Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed Deputy Commissioners across the province to ensure the restoration and operationalization of all non-functional water filtration plants in their respective districts.

She gave this direction while chairing a meeting in Lahore today.

The meeting was informed that, under the CM Punjab Clean Drinking Water Project, over two thousand two hundred water filtration plants will also be constructed.
