Independence Day: Foreign diplomats,parliamentarians extend greetings to Pakistan

Foreign diplomats and parliamentarians have extended warmest greetings to the government and people of Pakistan on 79th Independence Day of Pakistan.                    

Romanian Ambassador to Pakistan Dr Dan Stoenescu in a special video message in Urdu prayed for Pakistan's continuous progress and prosperity.                  

He said Romania proudly joins Pakistan in all its moments of joy and success, and reaffirms its friendship with Pakistan.

In a felicitation message filled with warmth, Senator Chris Van Hollen fondly reminisced his time in Pakistan. He especially admired the generosity, goodness and determination of the Pakistani people. He said he looks forward to further enhancing Pak-US ties.                               

In a heartfelt greeting message, Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke said we are proud to call Pakistan our friend and partner and we will continue to join hands for peace and unity.

Extending Independence Day felicitations to Pakistanis, US Congressmen Tom Suozzi said we need to strengthen our bilateral ties by making the economy of Pakistan further stronger.               

Wishing the Pakistani people peace and prosperity, Congresswomen Nicole Malliotakis said we appreciate the partnership between Pakistan and the United States especially in counter terrorism.                                     

Congresswomen Judy Chu said California is home to one of the largest Pakistani communities in the United States and their contribution to the culture and economy continues to enrich all.                     

In their separate messages, Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren and Congressman Pete Sessions lauded the positive contribution of Pakistani community in different fields in America.
