India Women won the Women’s T20 Asia Cup for the eighth time, defeating Sri Lanka Women by 72 runs in the final at Dubai.

Batting first, India Women posted 183 runs for the loss of five wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

In reply, Sri Lanka Women were bowled out for 111 runs in 20 overs, handing India a comprehensive 72-run victory and another Asia Cup title.
