The Punjab Government has established the "Chief Minister Health Vigilance Squad" to ensure effective monitoring of public sector hospitals across the province.

In this connection, chairing a meeting in Lahore today, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif directed for devising a comprehensive checklist for surveillance teams and approved the establishment of a Special Directorate of Monitoring under the Health and Population Department.
