Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep sadness over the tragic loss of lives and widespread devastation caused by the earthquake in Indonesia. 

In a post on the social media platform X, he extended heartfelt condolences to President Prabowo Subianto, the people of Indonesia and the bereaved families on behalf of the people and Government of Pakistan.

The Prime Minister prayed for the swift recovery of the injured and said his thoughts and prayers are with all those affected.

Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan stands shoulder to shoulder with the brotherly people of Indonesia and wishes strength and resilience to all those facing this difficult time.
