Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed to ensure legal action against those found responsible for school roof collapse incident in Peshawar.

In a telephonic conversation with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, the Prime Minister sought a comprehensive report on the tragedy and directed that the incident be investigated from all aspects.

Expressing deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives, Shehbaz Sharif offered heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and sympathized with them in their hour of grief.

He also gave instructions to provide the best possible medical treatment to the injured and all possible assistance to the affected families.

During the conversation, the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa briefed the Prime Minister on the incident.

He said the school owner has been arrested and an inquiry has already been initiated.
