Very cold weather is expected in Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and north Balochistan, while cold and dry in other parts of the country during the next twelve hours.

Dense fog is likely in plain areas of Punjab, Islamabad, Potohar region and upper Sindh.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning: 

Islamabad three degree centigrade, Lahore seven, Karachi eleven, Peshawar four, Quetta minus three, Gilgit minus four Murree zero and Muzaffarabad five degree centigrade. 

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, very cold and dry weather is likely to prevail in Srinagar, Leh, and Shopian and Partly cloudy/ very cold  in Pulwama, Anantnag and Baramulla while cold, dry and foggy weather in Jammu. 

Temperature recorded this morning, Srinagar and Pulwama minus three degree centigrade, Jammu six, Leh minus eleven, Anantnag and Barmulla minus two and Shopian minus one degree centigrade.
