The launching ceremony of Radio Pakistan’s Controller News, Sajjad Parvez’s first Book titled ‘22 Log’ will be held at Punjab Governor House in Lahore on Tuesday.

Punjab Governor, Muhammad Baligh Ur Rehman will be chief guest while Director General Radio Pakistan, Muhammad Tahir Hassan and Vice Chancellor Islamia University Bahawalpur Prof Dr Ather Mahboob will be guests of honour.

The book ‘22 Log’ consists 22 exclusive and detailed interviews of renowned personalities belonging to different walks of life of the country.

Sajjad Parvez who is serving as Controller News at Radio Pakistan, Lahore conducted these interviews for Radio Pakistan during the last two decades which are now part of its Archives.

The whole project of printing and  publishing of this book was supervised by Vice Chancellor Islamia University, Bahawalpur Prof Dr Ather Mahboob ( Tamgha-i-Imtiaz) who termed the publication of book ‘22 Log’ as unique in the university’s history.

He lauded the services of Radio Pakistan as the country's oldest and biggest broadcasting institution for the promotion of education, entertainment and information across the country.

Renowned columnist and anchorperson Sohail Warraich has termed the book ‘22 Log’ as trend setter in the Urdu literature. Senior Writer and Editor of Country’s widely read and circulated Urdu Digest “ SUBRANG” Shakil Adilzada  termed ‘22 Log’ as country’s first Urdu Coffee Table Book.

Senior Writer Irfan Javed in his introductory remarks wrote that the reading of this book made the reader nostalgic about the past events, customs, traditions and culture of the bygone era.

Renowned Writer for Children and founder of Children Literature Festival, Amra Alam is  of the view that ‘22 Log’ will be considered as a reference book as it contains rarest of the rare pictures on each page related to different renowned personalities of the country.

Renowned Motivational Speaker and Poet, Dr Javed Iqbal in his VLOG said that through book  ‘22 Log’ reader can be very well informed about personal and professional life of  renowned personalities belonging to arts, culture, music, literature and education of past years.

Renowned Novelist and TV writer Amna Mufti expressed the hope that this book will open new vistas in the field of research and literature for young generation.
