Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed the authorities concerned to resolve the problems of Sialkot's business community and its airport on priority basis to increase export potential of the city.
Talking to delegation of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Sialkot International Airport in Islamabad on Thursday, he directed to utilize all resources in this regard.
The Prime Minister directed officials of Ministries of Finance, Industries and Production, State Bank of Pakistan and Federal Board of Revenue to set up sector specific councils to create conducive environment for exporters.
He directed Chief Secretary Punjab to expedite the completion of Sialkot highways, especially Sialkot-Pasrur road and other infrastructure projects including flyovers and underpasses.
