Pakistan and China have underscored the importance of implementing the understandings reached between the United States and Iran.

This came during a telephone conversation between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi today.

The Deputy Prime Minister lauded China’s consistent support for Pakistan’s efforts to facilitate dialogue and diplomacy between Iran and the United States.

He also acknowledged China’s important contributions to the restoration of regional peace and stability.

The Chinese Foreign Minister commended Pakistan’s proactive diplomatic outreach and robust mediation efforts, which helped create conducive conditions for sustained engagement between Iran and the United States.
