Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Syed Iftikhar Ali Gillani says the legal fraternity has a key role in upholding the rule of law, protecting citizens' rights and ensuring access to justice.

He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of the Central Bar Association that called on him in Muzaffarabad today.

He said lawyers have played an important role in promoting democratic values, safeguarding constitutional rights and strengthening the rule of law in the territory.

Meanwhile, speaking to PML-N workers from Neelum Valley, the Prime Minister said development of remote areas across Azad Jammu and Kashmir is amongst the government's top priorities.
