Minister for National Health Services Mustafa Kamal has said that medical education in the country is being aligned with international standards.

Talking to media persons in Islamabad today, he said priority has been accorded to ensuring merit-based admissions in medical colleges.

The Minister said one hundred and thirty eight thousand students will appear in the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT), to be held on the 20th of this month.

He said that the MDCAT examination process remained free of complaints last year.
