Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has expressed deep sadness over the loss of precious lives and devastation caused by flash floods in Türkiye following the heaviest rainfall in over eighty years.

In a post on his X handle, he extended his sincere condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured.

He said Pakistan stands in firm solidarity with the brotherly people and leadership of Türkiye during this difficult time.

Ishaq Dar said Pakistan remains ready to extend all possible assistance.
