In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, APHC has expressed anguish over deployment of additional Indian troops to impose a forcible lockdown with an aim to destroy economic infrastructure and education system of the territory.

In a statement issued in Srinagar, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference spokesman, maintained that by restricting economic activities in the garb of Covid 19 pandemic the Modi-led fascist Indian regime wants to cripple the people of Jammu and Kashmir economically and force them to be subservient to India for their basic needs.

He termed it as the East India Company-like approach to prolong New Delhi’s illegal occupation on Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that the occupation authorities are using the Covid 19 pandemic as a double-edged sword to crush the Kashmiris as well as their legitimate struggle for right to self-determination.

In yet another move to muzzle journalism in IIOJK, the authorities, today, cancelled the registration of the Kashmir Press Club and handed over the building to Estates Department.
