Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has lauded 'Honhaar Scholarship' program of the Punjab government saying that provision of education and health facilities should be the top priority of the government.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of a private school in Fateh Jang, he stressed the need for character building of the students besides imparting them formal education. He also called for giving skilled education to the youth to make them useful citizens of the society.

The Governor said there should be a uniformed education system in the entire country. He said the government should take practical steps to provide better educational facilities to the people, particularly in remote and backward areas of the country.
