In Palestine, Prisoners' Day is being observed today to express solidarity with the Palestinian's languishing in Israeli jails. 

In a statement issued on the eve of Palestinian Prisoners' Day, the Journalists Support Committee said twenty-two Palestinian journalists including three women are currently imprisoned in Israel out of which four reporters are languishing in administrative detention.
