The relations between the two countries have further strengthened with the development of China Pakistan Economic Corridor. Chinese investment will bring economic stability in Pakistan. A number of Chinese companies have expressed interest to invest in diverse sectors in Pakistan. Meeting of Chinese delegation with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will prove fruitful.

Dr. Rasheed Ahmad Khan (IR Expert): China Pakistan Economic Corridor is a mega project which is a game changer for the whole region. Due to lack of interest shown by previous government, the projects under CPEC got delayed. The incumbent government has accelerated the pace on CPEC projects. Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal holds expertise in CPEC and is spearheading work on it.

Humayun Iqbal Shami (Economist): The unnecessary delay in execution of CPEC during previous government has slowed down the pace of this mega project. However, the new government is committed to complete the projects on fast track basis. China being a true friend of Pakistan is helping Islamabad in a number of sectors.
