
The Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet has approved various technical supplementary grants for key infrastructure, public service, and security projects.
The approval was given in a meeting of the committee held in Islamabad with Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb in the chair.
During the meeting, the Committee approved five billion rupees for the Directorate General Immigration and Passports, 2,192.8 million rupees as a technical Supplementary Grant for the NADRA and 2,124.2 million rupees for three development projects, including Construction of Model Prison at H-16, Islamabad, National Police Hospital Project, and Foreign National Security Cell Dashboard and Allied Facilities.
The Committee also approved 240.5 million rupees for the Anti-Narcotics Force for repair of helicopters to support operational requirements.
For agriculture sector, the ECC approved a summary for the SNGPL-based urea manufacturing plants, Fatima Fertilizer and Agritech, up to 30th of this month.
