The twenty-second death anniversary of comedian, film and stage actor Albela is being observed today.

Albela's real name was Akhtar Hussain and he was born in 1940.

Albela had a long film, TV and theater career as a comedian. His first film ‘Rishtay’ was released in 1963.

He died in Lahore on this day in 2004.
