President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have appreciated security forces for their successful operations against Fitna al-Khawarij in Bannu and its surrounding areas.

In a statement, the President reiterated that operations against the Indian-backed Fitna al-Khawarij and their facilitators will be carried out to their logical end.

Asif Ali Zardari said elements involved in targeting innocent civilians and law enforcement agencies deserve no leniency.

He said the entire nation stands shoulder-to-shoulder with security forces and law enforcement agencies.

Meanwhile, in a statement, the Prime Minister reiterated that the complete eradication of the menace of terrorism and its facilitators remain top priority of the government.

He vowed that the nefarious designs of terrorist elements operating under Indian patronage would be foiled at all costs, and all those involved in cowardly terrorist attacks would be brought to justice.

The Prime Minister said the entire nation stands firmly alongside its brave soldiers.
