President Zarai Taraqiati Bank Shahbaz Jameel also called on Shaukat Tarin in Islamabad on Tuesday.  

President ZTBL briefed the Finance Minister about the quarterly profit registered by the Bank ending on 30th June this year, after a gap of almost four years.

The Finance Minister, while speaking on the occasion, urged to adopt prudent lending, stringent accounting controls, innovative banking solutions and austerity measures for a turnaround in the long term.

He said ZTBL has been extending loans to poor farmers to boost agricultural productivity at the grass root level.

The Finance Minister directed the management to make concerted efforts to make the bank sustainable and dynamic to promote agro-farming in the country.
