Minister of State for Finance Bilal Azhar Kayani has said that the government is focusing on improving access to finance for agriculturists and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to unlock economic growth.

Addressing the Leaders in Islamabad Business Summit today, he said that enhancing exports is essential to maintain foreign exchange reserves at a higher level and avoid recurring boom-and-bust cycles.

The Minister of State also highlighted measures introduced in the federal budget to facilitate the private sector and support business activity.
