Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi has called for collective efforts to counter extremism and foster a peaceful environment in the country.

Addressing the media in Faisalabad on Sunday, he emphasized the role of religious scholars in guiding the youth and urged them to use their platforms in discouraging narratives that propagate hatred or division.
