The Chinese government will provide over one billion rupees for installation of 150 water filtration plants across Azad Kashmir to provide clean drinking water to the people.

The project is part of CPEC funded projects.

Under the project, priority will be given to postgraduate colleges, district headquarters hospitals, prisons and university campuses throughout AJK.
