Fog is likely to prevail over plain areas of Punjab, while cold and dry weather is expected in other parts of the country during the next twelve hours.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning: 

Islamabad seven degree centigrade, Lahore twelve, Karachi sixteen, Peshawar ten, Quetta and Gilgit one, Muzaffarabad eight and Murree four degree centigrade.

According to Met Office forecast in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, very cold and dry weather is expected in Leh, Anantnag, Shopian, Pulwama, Baramulla, Srinagar while cold and dry in Jammu.

Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar, Anantnag and Shopian zero degree centigrade, Jammu nine, Leh minus eight, Pulwama and Baramulla minus one degree centigrade.
