Federal Minister for Information Technology, Shaza Fatima Khawaja has said that Pakistan's economy is heading in the right direction due to the government's effective efforts.

Addressing a news conference in Lahore on Sunday, she said that policy rate and price hike ratio has considerably reduced and remittances have increased.

She said that IT sector exports have also been boosted and Pakistan is expecting investment in the IT sector worth 700 million dollars in a few years.

Shaza Fatima Khawaja said that Pakistan has crossed a milestone of 200 million mobile subscribers and the government wants every mobile user to have access to the internet.
